Daytona Beach, FL (PRWEB) April 14, 2004 – We are seeking same gender couples in Volusia County Florida, who would be interested in being part of a lawsuit to win recognition of same sex marriage.
There are thousands of rights that go along with marriage. We feel that as a minority we are entitled to the same rights and privileges as heterosexuals. It is our belief that marriage is a god-given right, and we feel that the law should be changed to reflect that.
We are gauging the level of support there may be for a class-action lawsuit in favor of same sex marriage.
We are canvassing area attorneys and organizations to determine how much support there is for going ahead with legal action.
Same-gender couples who are interested in a class-action lawsuit to win legal recognition for gay and lesbian marriages are invited to submit their names, address(s), telephone numbers to the Rev. Beau McDaniels, Pastor of Hope Metropolitan Community Church.
